SpaceX highlights USD 6bn military satellite portfolio as revenue rises

SpaceX is moving beyond launch services and deeper into military communications and target tracking.

The company has secured two US Space Force contracts totalling USD 6.45bn. The Space Force announced the awards in May, valuing them at USD 2.29bn and USD 4.16bn.

SpaceX highlighted the contracts in its second-quarter report, which showed revenue of USD 7.81bn, up 92 percent year on year.
